Building Your personal Altar and Creating a Sacred Space
Creating a personal altar and sacred space in your home or office is easy to do and life-changing. Altars create an environment of calm and inspiration to support your mastery. Personal altars strengthen your relationship with the Creator and align you with the Spiritual Laws of the Universe to support your everyday life.
Altars have been used for thousands of years and can be found at most sacred sites world-wide. Altars enjoyed popularity during ancient Rome, but were eventually abolished. The origin of the word altars, meant burnt offerings, or Lord’s Supper. The original intention of the practice of altars was to return something of value to Creator, in order to receive something better. The ancients worshipped at the altar following the path of the sun from East to West, which signified their desire to connect with the universe. They honored the relationship of Heaven and Earth and desired to live in harmony within it.
Tracee’s been working with personal altars since she was a teenager, and can’t think of anything that’s been more consistently helpful to her during the best and worst of times of her life. Creating a sacred space with a personal altar in the home, garden, or office is a perfect way to connect with yourself and the universe every day. Altars support you to be clear about who you are, what you want, and who you want to be and supporting you in this endeavor.
