Anytime we embark on a new path in our life there are always changes, feelings, and beliefs that must also change. Tricky part is to be able to navigate it openly and honestly which can be difficult if the change that has arisen is abrupt or unplanned. That can put us in crisis mode. Crisis mode is when we respond to our lives with the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are most comfortable and familiar and possibly the very ones that brought us to the change in the first place. However, they aren’t necessarily the ones that are going to allow for a peaceful easy navigation of the circumstance. Transition strategy entails sitting down to look at what is changing and to work through anything keeping you from moving forward in a peaceful positive manner. The intuitive process allows us to look at how the change may be affecting everyone concerned and to alleviate fears or anxiety about the changes taking place.
